Responses to the open pit mining propaganda

Asia Energy, a British Australian company had been trying to extract coal through open pit mining in Phulbari in Bangladesh. In August, 26, 2006 a huge mass protest took place against that project, three people were killed and more than two hundred were injured by firing from para military forces. Facing mass upsurge the Government of Bangladesh signed an agreement with the people of Phulbari not to do open pit coal mining and cancel all forms of deals with Asia Energy. Recently, in a desparate move, Asia Energy sponsored a visit to Germany by Bangladeshi journalists to advocate open pit coal mining. From August 4 these sponsored reporting has been published, (for instance:http://www.thedailystar.net/2007/08/04/d7080401044.htm). Here are some of the responses to those sponsored propaganda.
